Activiteiten

Wat kan je er doen?

Er is altijd veel te doen op het platteland. In de eerste plaats kom je er tot rust, geniet je van de vredevolle omgeving, maar er zijn ook andere mogelijkheden :

• Je kunt er gaan wandelen, fietsen of tuinspelen organiseren
• Op zoek gaan naar paddestoelen of bessen
• Vogelobservatie of de natuur verkennen
• Culturele uitstapjes voorzien

Je kan natuurlijk ook altijd het dorp verkennen of het landschap aanschouwen van het Dzukija Nationaal park. Fietsen is altijd een optie vooral in de zomer. In de grote tuin kan je altijd met familie en vrienden balsporten organiseren, badminton, speedminton of andere sporten. In de herfst wordt er in dit deel van het land naar paddestoelen gezocht. In het bos vind je cantharellen paddestoelen en kan je een huisgemaakte soep voorzien van eigen pluk. Tijdens de zomer en de herfst worden alle soorten bessen geplukt.

Je kunt er ook prachtige vogels aantreffen ! Sommige uitzonderlijke vogels verblijven er nog steeds en zelfs op het domein vind je groene specht (picus viridis), hop (upupa epops) en vleermuizen. Je vindt er ook ringslangen en verscheidene insekten, zeer typisch voor deze droge habitat.

De "Bobos darzas" bronis enig in Margionys. Vroeger werd aan de kinderen verteld dat ze gevonden werden op deze plek, aan de monding van de Skroblus rivier. Jonge koppeltjes die graag kinderen willen, gaan op deze plek nog bidden. Je kunt het altijd proberen ...

"Barn Theater" is uniek in Margionys en zeer bekend in Litouwen. Het is ook rechtover de woning, je kan het zien vanuit de slaapkamer.

Als je liever de streek wilt verkennen, ga dan eens naar de websites van Dzukija National park, Druskininkai Aquapark, de stad Druskininkai, Grütas Park, Cepkeliai Strict nature reserve of de stad Varena voor een dagtocht.
