A la campagne, il y a toujours beaucoup à faire! Bien entendu, dans un premier temps, vous pouvez vous reposer et profiter du calme environnant. Puis, si ensuite vous voulez entrer en action, vous avez de nombreuses possibilités:

  • vous balader, partir en randonnée, faire du vélo ou jouer dans le jardin
  • aller à la cueillette de champignon ou de baie
  • aller observer les oiseaux et explorer la nature
  • faire de nombreuses visites culturelles


Vous pouvez flâner dans le village, vous promener dans les environs et profiter des longues balades dans la forêt du parc national Dzūkija. Vous avez la possibilité de faire du vélo, surtout pendant l'été. Dans le grand jardin, votre famille et vos amis pourront jouer au ballon, au badminton, au speedminton et autres sports d'extérieur de votre choix. A l'automne, une des activités populaires dans cette partie de la Lituanie est la cueillette de champignon. Vous pourrez trouver des chanterelles dans la forêt autour de la maison et cuisiner au dîner votre propre soupe de chanterelle. Pendant l'été, vous pourrez cueillir des myrtilles, des framboises et autres baies sauvages.

Les patients pourront aussi observer les oiseaux. En effet, le parc naturel est l'habitat de quelques espèces rares. Des pics-verts (picus viridis), des huppes (upupa epops) et des chauves-souris (chiroptera family) vivent pratiquement dans le jardin. Les chanceux pourront voir des hirondelles et des gobe-mouches. D'autres créatures peuvent aussi être aperçues dans les environs : des lièvres, des couleuvres à collier et de nombreuses espèces d'insectes vivant dans la forêt de pins.

"Bobos daržas" est un trait unique de Margionys. Traditionnellement, les parents disaient avoir trouvé leurs enfants dans le "Bobos daržas", un endroit près du village où la source de la rivière Skroblus se trouve. Les jeunes couples voulant des enfants se rendaient à la "Bobos daržas" et lui demandaient d'exhausser leur voeu.

Le théâtre de le grange est un endroit unique, très connu en Lituanie. C'est à deux pas de la maison et vous pourrez d'ailleurs le voir de la fenêtre de la chambre. Vous pourrez essayer de réveiller l'acteur en vous...
